Angela started as a junior accounts clerk in a Chartered Accountancy practice in Taradale when she was 16 and studied extramurally to gain her BBS in Accountancy. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002. Angela became a director of Epplett & Co Ltd in April 2012. She works with clients across a variety of industries including Agriculture, Trades, Hospitality, Retail, Not for Profit, Health and Professional Services.
With a background in both accounting and audit, Angela has a varied range of skills to offer clients from business advisory, tax planning advice and cash flow forecasting to system and risk management reviews.
Angela and her family are keen campers and their favourite camping spot is along the Mohaka River. She also enjoys reading, entertaining and cycling and often cycles to work from Napier along the cycle pathways. Angela is the Chairman of Life Education Trust, Hawke’s Bay and sits on the Napier City Council Community Grants Committee.
Angela Williams has been our accountant for over 10 years.
During these years she has proved to be knowledgeable and thorough and has provided consistently good service. Along with normal accounting practices Angela has managed significant tax issues and staff related financial issues with ease. She has gone the extra mile on many occasions and on one particularly stressful occasion I can only describe her as a lifesaver.
She has great skill in providing us with accurate financial planning and has been described by our business coach as being the best accountant he has dealt with.
Angela recently helped us with setting up a new business, and she has also implemented the Xero accounting system into our businesses and this has proved very beneficial.
We have referred many people to Angela over the years and have had no hesitation in doing so.
