Sarah is a Director at Epplett & Co and an FCA with 15+ years in practice, backed by earlier corporate experience in science and healthcare. Her focus is tax advice and planning, business structuring, and helping owner-operated businesses grow with confidence.

She's a problem solver who digs for the underlying cause rather than the obvious symptom, an educator who genuinely enjoys demystifying the numbers, and a technology advocate who has put AI and automation to work across the firm so clients spend less time on compliance and more time on their business. Sarah has contributed to CA ANZ at both local and national level.

Away from the desk, Sarah is a long-time EV driver with solar and battery at home and an active in Sustainable HB and Electrify Hawke's Bay. She chairs the Hawke's Bay Breast Cancer Trust Board and is a board member at Havelock North Wanderers AFC. With two busy t(w)eenagers at home, spare time is scarce — but it goes to the garden, the kitchen, and an optimistically large stack of unread books.
